And classical. The wine spent 20 months in French oak barrels – just 35% new – so it’s approachable but also has backbone. Beguiling aromas of smoked hay and sour cherries entwine with crushed violet and meatiness… without losing any of its prettiness. This is dark, creamy, and absolutely overflowing with lush black cherry, Damson plum, and roasted coffee bean. The finish is a deep ballet curtsy of incense and cocoa powder.
