The Vice American Paradox Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2017

This VICE cabernet was such a big hit, we went to the winery and asked for more wine…and man did we score! 92 POINTS and a simply jaw-dropping price. If you got some of this before, you likely need more by now. If you missed out, here’s your chance! Epic stuff!

Owner/winemaker Malek Amrani has crafted one of those “pour me another glass, quickly…” type of cabernets – rich and polished, lush with boysenberry compote, Asian spice, fresh pipe tobacco, vanilla bean, and warm, oozing chocolate. It’s round and soft and terribly easy to love. 100% cabernet, aged in new French oak for 17 months, and of course a STEAL for this level of cabernet. Wondering about the name? In his own words: “In the early 90’s, wine was promoted as a key element of a healthy diet under the term French Paradox. To most, a daily glass of wine blessed them with a lifetime of recreation and pleasure. To me, a daily bottle of wine suavely aligned me in a lifelong path in which wine is my livelihood, my passion and my #1 Vice”.
