Beau Vigne Heirloom Brut North Coast NV
Champagne Blends | US
Beau Vigne – a long-time Napa Valley favorite of Robert Parker, Jr. himself, has entered into the Bubbly Universe! This was a one-time project, made in celebration of their 20th anniversary and…we scored some! Over 40% off is a steal, and now’s the season to load up on poppable, delightful, utterly charming sparkling wine – just like this!
Beau Vigne is one of our go-to Napa red producers for years… that classic, under-the-radar gem of a winery that consistently over-delivers quality for value. Their red wines have received 98-100 point scores a handful of times, and some of Napa’s greatest winemakers have crafted their wines over the years (Dave Phinney, Kirk Venge, and now, the esteemed Julien Fayard), so you can imagine just how thrilled we were to discover they were making a méthode champenoise sparkling for the first time ever!
This is sure to delight lovers of full-throttle, boisterous, and brawny bubbly. Grown and sourced from some high elevation sites throughout the cooler parts of the North Bay (mostly Sonoma and Mendocino), and then finished with a Brut-level dosage. Beguiling aromas of cooling pine, crushed raspberries, and black cherries, with fresh cut hay lead a heady, perfumed entry. Ripe Bosc pears, grapefruit pith, more cherries, plus lemon curd, and orange cream round out the palate – culminating in a fruit-driven, plush, and absolutely crushable finish. This is balanced and easygoing, just perfect popping for any occasion! You can’t get this anywhere else…even the winery is sold out of this rare creature! Ideal for any time sipping, to dress up or down for any occasion – like your favorite pair of designer jeans. At under $30 a bottle…this is the perfect six-pack buy!
