Owners of Angel Vine, Ed and Laureen Fus, moved to Oregon in 1997 to chase their dream of farming grapes. They predominantly grow pinot noir in the Eola-Amity Hills within Willamette Valley under their Three Angels Vineyard, selling to many local wineries – but the zin-passionate Ed also decided to start up another label on the side (Angel Vine) that focuses on single-vineyard zinfandel, sourcing his grapes from Washington. Akin to the grape-growing conditions of Napa, Columbia Valley is a dry and warm region protected from the cooling Pacific influence by a large mountainscape – resulting in a pretty perfect spot to grow zingy, full-bodied zinfandel.

Bursting with notes of blackberry, strawberry, and black cherry jams, along with smashed raspberry, blood orange, musky earth, black pepper, spicy clove, and nutmeg – this beautifully well-rounded zin is drinking in the prime of its life.
