Conn Creek Cabernet Sauvignon AVA Series St. Helena Napa Valley 2021

A heady rush of black cherry, liquorice, and sweet spices is nudged along by rose petal florals. Plump plum fruits laced with brown spice aromatics and herbs confront powerful, ripe tannins, while crushed slatestone emerges on the palate, further lifted by lingering Kirsch notes. Founded in 1973, Conn Creek Winery is situated on the eastern side of Napa Valley, just off the Silverado Trail. Best known for its Bordeaux-styled wines, Elizabeth DeLouise-Gant has been winemaker since 2017. Previously, she worked at Beaulieu Vineyard, Tamber Bey, and Stag's Leap Wine Cellars.
