"This is certainly a weighty wine with a vinous and phenolic mouthfeel. Bright greengage, green apple and sour pear come to the fore, while grapefruit pith and confit lemon linger on the finish". - Decanter
Aromas of fresh cut grass and a dash of pineapple. A slight vivacity on the palate leads into flavors of lemon and white flowers. A long crisp finish from the citric acidity.
Refreshing, with tons of bright gooseberry and lime-zest notes, this Yountville SB was fermented and matured in 100% stainless steel, which means no oak influence to obscure this white’s crystal clear and clean character. Enjoy before a meal or with anything from the sea.
Not perhaps a household name, Chris Hall is easily recognized throughout California’s wine country. Hall is vice president of Long Meadow Ranch (the company’s CEO and president is none other than Ted Hall, Chris’s father). As such, Hall overseas a vast agricultural empire including more than 150 planted acres of sustainably grown grapevines in Napa and Mendocino Counties (the Halls own estates in Rutherford and the Mayacamus Mountains and the Anderson Valley)—along with extensive acreage planted to olive trees and a host of organically raised fruit trees and vegetables. With such an incredible wealth of source fruit as his beck and call, it’s little wonder that this boutique Sauvignon Blanc made by Hall and business partner Dan O’Brien is so darn delicious.
· The 2016 vintage saw the massive benefits of winter rain before flowering—after many years of winter drought. The early rainfall, combined with a warm, sunny spring and early summer brought in a healthy, moderately large grape crop of delicious Sauvignon Blanc throughout the Napa Valley.
· Organic grape growers in the Napa Valley for going on 30 years, the Hall family also raises a herd of grass-fed highland beef cattle, produces estate-grown extra virgin olive oil and farm acres upon acres of organic fruits and vegetables throughout Northern California.
· Before establishing Hunt and Harvest, co-owner Dan O’Brien worked as a San Francisco Bay Area sommelier and launched boutique wine brand Cultivar.

From the winemaker:
Vibrant and bright aromas of guava, green kiwi, ruby grapefruit and kaffir lime. The palate is light and zippy with citrus fruit and a soft finish. Light-weight with just enough texture to balance the natural acidity.
