'Very Good' -Wine Enthusiast
This is one fresh and tasty bottle of Burgundy, with classically rich red cherry and spice notes over a vibrant acidity and firm structure. The wine is young and could use a few minutes to open or a couple years in the cellar, the abundant red fruit is bright and zippy, and there’s a solid vein of chalky minerality running through the finish. Enjoy now through 2019. - DZ Nov, 2014
This wine has some tannins that give structure as well as young fruitiness. A definite dry edge comes from the fruit as well as wood aging. The wood also brings out some bitterness that needs to soften. Drink from 2016. —Wine Enthusiast R.V. (6/1/2014)

Fermented in stainless steel and then aged in oak for nearly a year, where the wine softened just enough to give it velvety tannins, but retain its lively character. With five years of age on it, this wine will continue to age gracefully for another decade.
