Thanks to amazing foresight, this is one sumptuous Napa Red Blend that you won’t need to second guess. So, without further ado, let us introduce a forward-looking, Bordeaux style, Napa Valley marvel from the year Wine Spectator called “a dream vintage.” The moniker Hindsight is almost tongue in cheek!
No Joke: A winemaker, a businessman, and a neurosurgeon walk into a wine bar… it sounds like the lead in to a great joke, but it’s all business for the team behind Hindsight. Bonded by a passion for Napa Valley wines, Keith Hargrove (winemaker), Seth Gersch (businessman), and Alisa Gean, MD (neurosurgeon) endeavor to produce outstanding wines at affordable prices.
Better and Better:Napa Valley: the west coast home of fine wine. But the founders of Hindsight couldn’t help but wonder why these wines of screaming quality cost a small fortune. They set the task for themselves to offer up supremely delicious Napa Valley wine at an “everyman” price. It only got better when the 2014 rolled in and out like a dream. It was a Cab lover’s dream year, and this robust bottle features the Cab flavors front and center of this Bordeaux style masterpiece.
Luxury Winemaker: From home winemaking to Spring Mountain, Jac Cole wears the cape of a winemaking legend. He wears right along with his worn in jeans and blue plaid shirts. The man who redesigned the Charles Krug production facility is renowned for his old world finesse with rambunctious new world fruit. And this bottle showcases the harmony and balance his skill brings to Napa Valley riches.
A heady bouquet of dried raspberries, dark cherries, coffee, and spiced vanilla lead you into an explosively rich palate of black and red berries which carries through to a luxurious finish.
