94 points James Halliday Sweet, ripe, dark-berried fruit pulled ably together by muscular tannins. Warm, heady, dense style of ‘big red’ plying its trade without fear or favor. Blackberry, tar, toast and coffee grounds. Midwinter drinking.

At Brothers in Arms they put their heart into full-bodied wine that is true to the estate and true to the region. These wines showcase the high quality of the  fruit and reflect the spirit of their family tradition. Since being established in 1998, they have achieved national & international recognition for their Brothers in Arms bottled beauties.

TASTING NOTES

A colour of deep garnet hues with vibrant red fruit aromas of blackcurrant and raspberries complemented with a tantalising whiff of cracked pepper and spice. A rewarding, round mouth-feel of summer fruits and subtle mint accompanied by a gentle yet persisting spicy oak takes you down a road of well-structured and very fine tannins with a lingering finish.

THE STORY TO KNOW

Brothers in Arms is very much a family concern. As the owners, Guy & Liz Adams are involved in all aspects of the business on a daily basis. It’s not surprising really as they live on the vineyard only 2 minutes down the road to the winery.
