91pts, Wine Spectator
A spirited yet refined Pinot, with rose petal and dark raspberry aromas, and structured, polished red plum and orange peel flavors that gain traction toward lively tannins. Best from 2019 through 2023. 292 cases made. - Tim Fish

91pts, Vinous
Deep red. High-pitched aromas of fresh red berries and candied flowers pick up a zesty mineral nuance with air. Taut and seamless in texture, offering vibrant raspberry and spicecake flavors that deepen slowly on the back half. Finishes gently sweet, focused and long, with fine-grained tannins coming in late. This is quite a lively wine for the vintage. - Josh Raynolds

We know how much you loved the Grochau Cellars Pinot, so we’ve been busy scouring our various channels to bring you more Oregon Pinot! Luckily we found this stunning, dual 91pter, single-vineyard bottling from Et Fille, the super small production team crafting beautiful wines in Yamhill-Carlton. And with some serious bargaining, we somehow managed to get them down to only $19. Single-vineyard Pinots at 60% off coming in hot at $19 don’t come around often that’s for sure.

Et Fille started as a father-daughter winemaking team with a passion for crafting wines to enjoy over family gatherings. With a focus on sustainability, they manage blocks in vineyards with authentic, environment-first practices. Kalita Vineyards being no exception has Oregon L.I.V.E. certification, the preeminent sustainability certifier in the Pac-Northwest.

Passion oozes out of the glass in this wine. It’s pure love and joy. Notes of fresh raspberries, currants and strawberries jump out of the glass with lovely aromas of candied rose petals and warm cinnamon-spice cake on the back palate. There’s a gentle lushness to the profile with nicely integrated tannins. Truly a joy to drink! Perhaps enjoy with your favorite parent (or both of them we supposed).

It certainly won’t stick around for long at $19. Get it while it lasts!

THE STORY TO KNOW

Family inspires the team at Et Fille. It is how they started, why they continue, and what they hope accompanies their wines at your dinner table. Et Fille was co-founded by father and daughter winemakers and is now in its second generation with daughter Jessica making wine inspired by her legacy and future generations.

They are located within Oregon's Willamette Valley, which is comprised of distinct American Viticultural Areas (AVAs). They have a small estate vineyard, but also manage blocks at six other sustainably farmed vineyards. This creates diversity between their single vineyard designate wines and adds complexity to their blends.

They produce their wines by hand in small lots at a shared Dundee winery. Their hands touch the clusters, fermenters, barrels, and bottles that eventually become their wine. They are inevitably tied to the land, seasons, and community.
