I literally drank 2 bottles of this EXCELLENT, truly delicious, fine, and WAY-OVER-its-price-range Pinot last night at Charter Oak in St. Helena. Wow!

93 POINTS Wine Advocate (and 92 Vinous) and we’re telling you - serious, major yum factor. FREE SHIPPING on 4+ bottles to boot! Silky, mouthfilling, rich and finely-tuned Pinot -- normally $40! I loved the succulent texture, tea and cherry...mhmm! So stoked to have a few cases to sell!

Webster Marquez, Anthony Filiberti, and David Low met while working at Sonoma’s Williams Selyem in 2003. In 2004, they started Anthill Farms, making eight-and-a-half barrels of wine the first year. Today, they make eight single-vineyard Pinots and two appellation wines every year; depending on the vintage. They also produce two or three Syrahs and a Chardonnay. Outside of their mailing list, a small amount of wine is released every year to restaurants and wine shops and is one of Sonoma’s most sought after producers.

Wine Advocate, 93 points: “The 2018 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a blend of wine from the Anthill Farms single-vineyard cuvées, made with about 15% to 20% new French and Austrian oak and 40% whole clusters. Medium ruby-purple, it has pure scents of cranberries, blackberries, black tea leaves, fragrant earth and garrigue. In the mouth, it's concentrated but light on its feet with a silky texture, floral fruits, seamless freshness and a long finish.”

Vinous, 92 points: “The 2018 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a pretty big, dark wine relative to prior editions. Dark cherry, plum, lavender, sage, spice and menthol shape this brooding appellation-level Pinot from Anthill Farms. Readers will find an especially potent, virile Pinot with tons of character."’
