Greg La Follette is the winemaker behind the much-loved FLOWERS for many years, and we are stunned to have a tiny allocation of his own personal label --- these are serious, intense, long-lived Pinot Noirs of grace and power. To have a bit priced like this is amazing!

Sun Chase Vineyard is a much-coveted vineyard on the western slope of Sonoma Mountain in the Petaluma Gap at 1200 to 1400 feet elevation above the fog line. It makes gorgeous, powerful wine --- just read the reviews below!

WA94+: “Medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Sun Chase Vineyard has a wonderfully layered nose of red cherry, blackberry pie, grated nutmeg, smoked meats, violets and savory herbs. Medium-bodied, it's got wonderfully intense spiced fruits in the mouth, a firm frame of grainy tannins and a very long, nuanced finish. Yum! Give this an hour or two in the decanter. 289 cases were made.”

JD92+: “The 2017 Pinot Noir Sun Chase Vineyard is also outstanding. Destemmed and aged 11 months in French oak, its medium ruby color is followed by youthful notes of blackcurrants, smoked earth, and graphite. It’s fresh, focused, and concentrated on the palate, and is tight and backward yet loaded with potential. Give bottles a year or two.”
