Was $32...now $15! Lawer is owned by an Alaskan family and having lived there ourselves from 1989-1997, we negotiated a pretty terrific deal! Drink up!
Knights Valley Chardonnay priced ANYTHING like this is a rare event -- we all threw a case in our cars last night! C’mon! $180 a case??! Madness!
What’s it like? Besides troublingly easy to drink, ha ha?! Rich, round, mouthcoating nectarines and limes, baked apples, lemon and white flowers. It’s rich but refreshing, too, with clean, pure fruit and nice balance. As noted…hard to put down. Get it while we have it…!
Vibrant hues of pale yellow fill the glass, complemented by sparkling notes of green. Aromas are fresh and complex, with lime, melon, and white blossom floral layered with notes of flint. On the palate, well-balanced flavors of citrus, rich nectarines with a lovely creaminess to the texture and finishing long and fruity with a note of mineral. The lingering finish is crisp and elegant.
