Delicate, fine and elegant, there is no doubt this is Premier Cru fruit! Three  winemakers banded together to create Langlet, imagine the debates on those winemaking decisions....

A pretty pure expression of the chardonnay grape and the minerality associated with the region. Delicate white flowers on the nose with crisp citrus notes like roasted lemon and grapefruit mingle with classic Reims minerality. There is not a heavy brioche bread note but Langlet has a style that drives vibrant acidity and the bubbles are super tiny (pin head indeed), this allows the grapes to fully shine. Gorgeous bubbly! Enjoy now or for the next few years.

“CHAMPAGNE LANGLET, AN ALLIANCE OF TRADITION AND MODERNITY, OFFERS AN IDEAL PLEASURE TO CHAMPAGNE CONNOISSEURS…””

Champagne Langlet is a House that combines a modern way of thinking with the traditional. Langlet began thanks to the encounter of three winemakers: Vincent Métivier, Luc Chaudron and Fréderic Papelard. Champagne Langlet prides itself on being progressive, continuing to evolve and permenantly enscribe itself on the era’s trends.

Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes carefully sourced from the "Montagne de Reims", Premier and Grand Crus, this Champagne is characterized by its delicate aromas and great finesse. It has a pin head bubble and a persitent mousse and is ideal as the perfect aperitif.

Champagne producers from this region include Louis Roederer, Ruinart, Veuve Cliquot, Krug, Taittinger and Mumm.

The Montagne de Reims lies between the Marne and the Vesle Rivers, forming a broad, undulating headland of forests and thickets that stretches east-west for about 30km and north-south for 6-10km. The region produces robust wines with a crisp palate and a fragrant nose — qualities that give Champagne wines their backbone.

TASTING NOTES

A pale color with very fine bubbles. Grapefruit and passion fruit notes are revealed in a discreet aroma. This very mineral wine is extremely vibrant. Its final leads on to more robust aromas. An energetic vintage to wake up the tastebuds ... at brunchtime!

THE STORY TO KNOW

VINCENT MÉTIVIER, LUC CHAUDRON, & FREDERIC PAPELARD

Vincent is a wine-grower who built a wine press amidst the chalky vineyards between Château Thierry and Epernay to produce Langlet Champagne. He has learned precise methods from his elders which helps him produce carefully thought-out, harmoniously-structured wine.

Luc is a wine-grower whose vineyard on Reims Mountain consists mostly of grand cru and premier cru plots. A merchant with a large production capacity was needed to give “substance” to the adventure and support it with a rapid, powerful, ultra-modern, flexible, precise assembly line.

Fréderic is the brand ambassador. A “people person”, he promotes Langlet Champagnes among a market of connoiseurs and learns from freeback to help create an ideal product.

These three men, all three winemakers and owners of their vineyards, are the origin of Champagnes Langlet. They have made a product assembled in a subtle way, consensual and open to the other: the friend, the artist, the poet, the one who wants the agape to remain in memory ... A product that will satisfy all those who with gluttony, know how to decode their identity. This filiation is not the only singularity of Champagnes Langlet. "You have to be Resolutely modern," said Rimbault, "Champagne Langlet", mobile, evolutionary, progressive, irremediably part of the trends of his time. So the friend plays a vital role in the evolution of his ranges. The immense kitchen set up in the middle of the cellar, in Gland, testifies to this will to share the taste of the party that one knows concentrated in these bottles.

PERFECT PAIRINGS

Bascially pair this with anything you'd squirt lemon on. Classic white fish dishes or poultry. Goes perfectly with cream sauces or even mac and cheese.
