Founder's Rosé is a Killer End-of-the-Season Sipper
Bright and fresh, with lively tones of red and pink fruits, the Westfall's C'est Bon is brand new on the market. As it is, we are the only ones who get to sell, and you our audience are the only ones who get to drink it. I'll be taking at least a few bottles to show off - we here at the inVino office hand-picked the grapes last year, and I'm keen to show off the fruits of our labor (pun intended?).

Strawberry and rose petals on the nose. Guava juice, red currant, honeysuckle and melon sit on the palate with a light body and crisp acidity. It finishes smooth, with a dash of cream popping out of the fruit. Drinking now through 2020. 93 Points - JZ July '18

Things to Know:

Location- Location- Location:  A short mile from our Sonoma headquarters, and to the iconic Sonoma Plaza, the Westfall Haven vineyard is our best kept secret. Carefully tended and hand-harvested by Ned Hill (Durell & Ram's Gate's renowned viticulturist), these grapes are pampered like the family pet. And trust us, the family pet knows it.

Exclusive and Reclusive: The Westfall Haven Vineyard is a tiny parcel smack dab in Carneros. Consistently producing wow-factor grapes, Winemakers in the area say they "make you sit up and pay attention",

Produced from our third harvest of Grenache, it does a pretty great job of showing that this region not only makes for an ideal spot for this Old World grape, but that it's perfectly suited for Rosé.

With Randy's artful touch, and some micro-lot Syrah, the end result is a wine that (elegantly) screams, traditional, refreshingly dry sipper. It's a real grand homage to Provence.

Delicate with zippy acidity, this wine drinks supple and moreish. A delightful French-inspired rosé, it shows pale raspberry pink in the glass with appealing soft berry aromas, flavours of fresh summer fruits and a crisp finish.

From the Winery:

No matter the industry, it’s always helpful to have friends in high places. When we launched invino we knew we were in a key position to bring stellar wines to Members at equally remarkable price points, in part because of our longstanding connections in Wine Country.

Same goes for invino’s own negociant label: C’est Bon. Our relationships to growers and vintners put us in a prime position to take advantage of all that Sonoma County offers. In the case of this particular wine—our inaugural Malbec, made from 100% Sonoma County fruit—that means hiring winemaker Randall Watkins (winner of Sonoma County’s Winemaker of the Year) and in the vineyard working with Ned Hill (of Parmalee Hill and Durell Vineyards fame). Both are personal friends of ours, and both share our love for and fascination with the finest of local wines.

From Anchovies to Carpaccio and Gazpacho and Goat cheese to prawns and (not too spicy) Satay, this is a perfect wine to drink with food or alone.
