Walter Schug grew up roaming legendary German vineyards, where his father made German pinot noir (spätburgunder, anyone?). This early interaction influenced the trajectory of Walter’s life, as he went on to earn a viticulture and enology degree from world-famous Geisenheim University. He was one of the OGs to set up shop in Sonoma’s Carneros region back in the early 1980s, and the winery has consistently over-delivered ever since.

This pinot noir is from Schug’s Heritage Club – the winery’s wine club selection – SUPER exclusive and available only to members…usually. These wines are VERY limited, cool one-offs that only a select few people can access.
