Absolutely perfect to drink right now, single-vineyard goodness…a prime bottle of powerfully layered stuff that screams of powdered cacao, dried cherries, mixed berry pie, a heap of baking spices, lush toasted oak, and packed with fruit-jammed notes of baked raspberry, zingy cherry cola, ripe figs, and plum preserves. Dang, it’s almost too good to be true at a price this right! This drinks just like other Cali-cabs that go for triple the buy-in, and no aging time needed!

The Housleys have been growing grapes in Napa for more than 40 years, giving them the prowess, stature, and tenure necessary to stand up to the greats in the region. They opened up Century Oak Winery in the Mokelumne River AVA, near Lodi, in 2000, where the loamy, alluvial soils retain moisture pristinely, allowing vines to thrive and grow some delicious fruit. The grapes used here were aged for 20 months in all-new French oak barrels, resulting in one of the BEST daily drinker Cali-cabs we’ve been lucky enough to get our hands on...especially for under 16 BUCKS!
