The fruit here hails from Diamond Mountains' legendary Constant vineyard, as well as a few choice parcels of Somerston Estate's hillside blocks in Napa's Vaca Mountains. This is a perfectly aged, pristine, and incredibly complex cab that will shine on your kitchen table now. Just wait until you put your nose in the glass! Wonderful sandalwood, cigar box, dusty cherry, spice, and mushroom draw you in, but the freshness and ripeness here are what takes this to the next level, with ripe plum, blackcurrant, espresso, and cocoa powder. There’s just the right amount of oak still kicking to balance out this powerful yet refined wine. Plenty left in the tank to evolve for another 5+ years, but honestly, why wait?
