This thrilling, roller coaster of a wine does all that and more… and at this price?!?! What’s left to think about? Grab a few cases at this incredible price for poolside, lakeside, grill-side, tableside, and side will do!

The Martini family has nearly 50 years experience growing some of the best grapes in New York. Today, firmly entrenched in the 2nd generation, with a 3rd coming in the wings, this is very much a family owned and operated organization. One sip and you’ll begin to understand the pull these wines have– soft mango, sweet melon and Maui Gold pineapple flavors sure to transport you to a tropical island of deliciousness!

About the Producer

John and Ann Martini moved to Anthony Road in 1973 at the urging of a friend that touted the joys of grape growing in the Finger Lakes. They loaded up 2 young children and left their home in Baltimore, where John worked for WR Grace to set up their farming life on the west side of Seneca Lake. Surprisingly neither Ann nor John had an agricultural background unless you count John's youthful summers at his grandparent's farm in Melvin, Illinois. But together and with the help of family and friends, they planted their first 5-acres, Foch, in the summer of 1973. The vineyard grew, to 30-acres, as did the Martini family, to 4 children. Today, the whole family is dedicated to producing the best wines from the Finger Lakes. This is a labor of love for the Martini family.

90 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
The 2020 Riesling comes in with 27 grams of residual sugar, 7.77 of total acidity and 11.2% alcohol. Winemaker Peter Becraft said that this was made with a blend of different "fermentations from estate grown fruit....Fermentations were arrested in many differing sweetness levels to give us the components to build this wine. Price to quality ratio is extremely high on this wine." He's not lying. This is wonderfully delicious but always bright enough to be refreshing. It's rather elegant as well. It would be nice to say that Anthony Road has a great value with this wine, but all their wines this issue are great values. If you're really pinching pennies and don't mind it being semi-sweet, this is a deal.
