Typhon Estate is a small producer crafting pristine cabernet sauvignon in the Napa Valley. They source from St. Helena’s revered Somerston Vineyard for this wine, and man, it is a powerhouse! 2018 is a great one here in our Valley, and you’ll find tons of deep blue fruits, a Bordeaux-like note of graphite, sweet tobacco spice, black currants, creme de cassis, blackberry preserves...we could go on and on! There’s a cedary, sweet oak spice to this which keeps it going for days, and a texture that finishes velvety smooth. Simply fantastic!
