This was made by none other than Jeff Gaffner, a Sonoma winemaking prodigy and the mind behind such coveted labels as Saxon Brown and Black Kite. Jeff was also on the winemaking team that made the legendary Chateau Saint Jean Cinq Cepages 1996 that won the coveted Wine Spectator Wine of the Year in 1999!

Nearly black in the glass, this is not for the faint of heart! Expect deep dark blackberry and boysenberry preserves, raspberry danish and sweet cigar box notes, hints sweet Asian spices – dense and concentrated, and WHAT a finish! Plums, raspberry coulis and just the right amount of oak spice…it just keeps on going.
