Champagne Gardet Zero Dosage NV - Invino

Champagne Gardet Zero Dosage NV

Proprietary Blends  |  France

SPECIAL: GROUND SHIPPING INCLUDED ON ORDERS OF 3 BOTTLES OR MORE!

We love when containers full of Champagne hit the loading dock! This dry, toasty, highly-drinkable and citrusy new release is 34% pinot noir, 33% pinot meunier, 33% chardonnay, and drinks like something FAR more expensive than Invino clients get it for!

A brand new cuvee for the winery that spends a staggering 7 years aging in the winery's cold cellar before it is disgorged! Built from all Grand Cru and Premier Cru fruit, this is blended with a high percentage of reserve wine which gives it its richness and the lack of dosage keeps it fresh and zippy.

If you’re new to Gardet, please check out the detailed info below – but DON’T miss this one! “Zero dosage” simply means no additional sugar is added in the dosage, so the wine is terrifically fresh and bright, complex and minerally. Gardet’s style under cellarmaster Stephanie Sucheyre for the base wine is a bit riper so you’ve really got the best of both worlds here – rich apple, brioche, and guava notes, with lemon creme and kumquat. DELICIOUS. THIS PRICE!! Get it while we have it!

About the Producer

Maison Gardet was established in the late 19th century when Charles Gardet, an entrepreneurial shopkeeper, founded his House in Epernay. In the 1930s, his son Georges Gardet moved to Chigny-Les-Roses to continue the tradition and develop the Champagne Gardet brand. The Prieux family, who has been working in the arboricultural and wine sectors for years, is now the proud owner of the House. Deeply attached to its roots in the Champagne region, Maison Gardet combines 21st century technology with the tradition inspired by the founder of the House, to produce champagnes of outstanding quality. In order to maintain the quality and character of its champagnes year after year, Maison Gardet takes advantage of the latest technological innovations to master every parameter of “methode champenoise” winemaking. This winemaking process is the key step in turning grapes into a heavenly drink; therefore, it is adapted to each of our cuvees to get the finest champagne.
