You could easily spend $100+ for a 95-POINT Rhone like this (trust us, we have!). When Lady Fortune favored us and the opportunity on this beauty arrived earlier this year, we bought all we could of this rocking delicious, juicy, affable, yet sophisticated red. This is a staff favorite, for certain. 

Like many Lirac wines, the grenache/syrah blend is typically reminiscent of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but here with a bit more power and ripeness. In the excellent 2018 vintage, this strength and ripeness of red plums and blueberry notes are truly spectacular, as you’ll see the moment you taste this! All that juicy, bright fruit is taken to the next level, with accents of lavender, roasted thyme and sage, and new leather, finishing with spicy black pepper. There’s a lot going on, especially at this price!

Decanter World Wine Awards is one of the most prestigious wine-tasting competitions in the world, with perhaps the most accomplished tasting panel. They handed out a gold medal and rated this 95 POINTS out of the literally thousands of wines they tasted. All tasted blind by a panel of 10 Master's of Wine, 3 Master Sommeliers, and the rest seasoned wine professionals and tasters...if that isn’t a verified stamp of approval – nothing is! While it lasts, good people!
