"I was again very impressed with the quality I found and the domaine just seems to continue to go from strength to strength." - Allen Meadows, Burghound. Whether you’re an old hand at Chardonnay from one of the greatest places on earth for it, or a newcomer, you’ll be absolutely stunned by this beauty. YOWZER!

All of the domaine's vineyards are situated on finely pitched hillsides, resulting in wines with savory minerality and luster. This is textbook white Burgundy from the Colin's home appellation of Saint Aubin, where they have some of the finest holdings of anyone. This has incredible purity, racy acidity, intense minerality and extreme complexity. It has all of the things that make white Burgundy one of the most compelling wines on the planet. This just cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. This wine has it all, except the steep price tag.

Today, the Domaine is run by the next generation, Joseph, Caroline and Damien, the children of Marc and Michele. They farm sustainably and organically, with most of the vineyards consisting of older vines, and clay-limestones soils that are just some of the shining qualities of this historic domaine.

The 2019 Saint-Aubin Les Combes 1er Cru is blessed with an outstanding bouquet with crushed rocks and flint combining succinctly with the green apple aromas. Classic in style. The palate is very well balanced with a fine thread of acidity. Yes, there is some creamy oak to be assimilated in this Saint-Aubin, but all the elements are in place for one of Colin's finest offerings from his "home" appellation.
