A staff and customer favorite for a couple of years running, the lovely Premier Cru bubbly called “Eminence” from Berthelot hails from vineyards in Dizy and Avenay, and they’ve been doing it since 1940. At our head-shaking price of OVER 46% OFF...who needs to load up on amazing bubbly?!

Everyone, of course. This stuff rocks! A new-release "non-vintage” Champagne that is actually 100% vintage, despite what the label says, made entirely from the warm, lush 2016 season. It just gets our motors running big time – stone-fruity energy, baked apple pie, fresh bread, minerals, candied lemon peel, lychee, croissant dough, a touch of honeysuckle GOOD! The dosage is Brut-level 7 grams per liter with the blend clocking in at 70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay. Classic, delicious stuff that you’ll want in great supply!

Fun fact: There are about 49 million bubbles in a 750ml bottle of Champagne. We have about 10 cases left for those with the fastest fingers… While it lasts! You will not be let down, this stuff is amazing!

About the Producer

In Dizy, a village near Epernay, the Champagne estate Paul Berthelot has been developing for five generations a Champagne wine-making activity in the same vein and according to the same principles of the founder Emile Berthelot and his dynamic small and great-grandchildren, Paul, conductor of the trade of the house from 1940 to 2000 and Jacques, responsible since 1960 of the organization of the vineyard and its development. The Domaine has 16 hectares of vineyards between Dizy and Avenay, classified Premier Cru, and also Aÿ which is classified Grand Cru. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the majority in equal parts.
