Chateau La Gabarre Rosé Bordeaux 2020
Proprietary Blends | France
We flipped upon tasting Chateau La Garbarre’s wines, but the deal we made on the rosé is particularly out of this world. A mere $12.95 for a Bordeaux rosé of this quality? With free shipping on 6+ bottles, it is stock-up time, as long as it lasts!
Fresh, clean, crisp, and soul-satisfying, this wine comes from 15-35-year-old vines from vineyards north of the Dordogne River in the heart of Bordeaux. The Gabarre chateau is located on the right bank of the river in the small commune of Glagon, just a short drive from Lalande-de-Pomerol. The chateau is owned by a husband-and-wife duo, Stephane and Paola Gabard. They took the reins on the estate in 1999, and the vineyards have been in their family since the 1800s.
Better known for red wines of course, Bordeaux does make a bit of rosé, and the vast majority of it is consumed in France. You’ll be one of the few to own any in the U.S.! Just a whisper of strawberry and raspberry coulis, this is immensely easy to drink, with a bit of red apple and bright, zesty, clean flavors. What else could you want?! Did we mention $12.95?! We have 25 cases to sell – while it lasts! $77.70 for a six-pack with free ground shipping!
