Beau Vigne Cabernet Sauvignon Juliet Napa Valley 2016

Cabernet Blends  |  US

This offer has EVERYTHING. Rockstar, 100-point winemaker? Check. Fantastic vintage? Check. Jaw-dropping scores and price? OH YES! Winemaker Kirk Venge is a fixture in Napa Valley - his father was the first American winemaker to ever receive a 100-point score for the 1985 Groth Reserve, and Kirk followed in his footsteps, earning his 100-point stripes at Beau Vigne with their 2013 Reserve Cabernet. Robert Parker Jr. has been a fan boy ever since calling Beau Vigne “one of my favorite wineries”. High praise indeed from one of the most influential wine critics that has ever lived!

You could easily pay $100, $250, and more for a 2016 Napa Cab with a score like this! $45.95 is…truly jaw-dropping. The wine is all that, too -- dark, hedonistic, plush and packed with black currant and boysenberry, toasted spices, baking spice and sweet tobacco. ASTOUNDING for under $50. ONLY 42 CASES…and that’s the end of it! First come, first served…!

95 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Juliet is blended of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. It has a very deep purple-black color and gives up intense crème de cassis, Black Forest cake and warm mulberries with hints of cigar boxes, cast iron pan, menthol and violets. The palate is full, rich and concentrated with firm, grainy tannins and a compelling line of freshness lifting the black fruits to a long, perfumed finish. 210 cases produced.
