Styler Pinot Noir Wildcat Mountain Vineyard 2017 - Invino

Styler Pinot Noir Wildcat Mountain Vineyard 2017

Pinot Noir  |  US

Wildcat Mountain Vineyard is something of a Sonoma legend. It is situated high on the southern flank of the mountain range that marks the western edge of the Sonoma Valley. The vines are planted on a south-facing slope, with distant views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The sparse volcanic soils, dense fog, and cold ocean winds make it a tricky place to grow grapes.

"Stylish Styler", is what we called it around the office, as it just has a drinkability that LIFTS us all -- spirit-wise and flavor-wise! Cherries, pomegranate, cranberry, red whips, cola and a earthy note, all perfectly balanced and silky soft. So good! Don’t miss at this wildly fine price!

About the Producer

Scott Rich was introduced to winemaking in the home of a family friend, who made wine in their Salt Lake City basement. Coupled with a father who was inclined toward Burgundies (lots of ‘em), it seemed as though Scott was destined for the vine. He went on to study Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design at UC Davis, but then realized winemaking was his true passion. He returned to his alma mater, graduating once more with a degree in Viticulture and Enology.
