Bernard Magrez Proprietary Red Casa Magrez de Uruguay 2016
Proprietary Blends | Uruguay
Bernard Magrez is a LEGEND in Bordeaux...wait until you taste this! You might have a little epiphany!
Chateau Pape Clement - it’s the legendary Pessac-Leognan Bordeaux juggernaut (go ahead and look up the scores!), owned by the intrepid Frenchman Bernard Magrez. Arguably this country's finest producer of red wines (they DO have a bit of winemaking experience - Pape Clement’s first harvest was in 1252!), Casa Magrez has made a fantastic, delicious red blend based on Tannat, Cabernet and Merlot and it SINGS of shiny red fruits -- cranberry, pomegranate, cherry, dried cherries... Almost traditional Chianti-like with its crunchy brightness and long finish.
92 POINTS, 50% OFF -- bright, silky, super-fresh red!! Just a small batch, but totally worth your attention and drinking pleasure, oh yes! Really a cool little score - your friends will be blown away it is from Uruguay. Grab some while we have it!
