Domaine de la Denante Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019

We must say, here at Invino we LOVE our SF-based importer who brings this in especially for us, direct from the domaine (thus the wonderful price), and the ‘19 might just be the best one yet! If you haven't heard, the 2019 red Burgundy vintage is one that will go down as one of the best of this century (seriously!), combining incredible concentration, ripeness and extract with bright freshness and overall balance. There's one problem; yields were very low and global demand is higher than it has ever been. We didn’t get much, so if you love classically-styled immensely drinkable pinot, this is a must!

Denante is a small winery located in the Mâconnaise region that has been on a serious qualitative roll! The young Damien Martin has helped convert this estate to organic viticulture and really taken these wines to the next level. Yields have been reduced and focus is now on lieux-dits (smaller, named geographical sites) rather than large cuvees.

Drinks SO well, right out of the gate. You’ll be the coolest kid at the party cruising in with this bottle, and no one will know you didn’t pay WAY more! 25 CASES and that’s it! While it lasts!
