POE Pinot Noir Manchester Ridge Vineyard Mendocino Ridge 2018

We love POE’s new releases (usually highly allocated to restaurants), but especially the Manchester Ridge, up above Anderson Valley, aka pinot paradise!! This is a site that has produced some of Northern California’s most beloved and ageworthy pinot noirs. If you love perfumey, floral and beautifully detailed pinot noir, you’ll want to get more than you think!

Samantha Sheehan founded POE in 2009 after being inspired by the wines she tasted in Burgundy and Champagne. Her goal isn't to copy Burgundy, but rather to create vineyard specific, alluring and ageworthy wines. There is minimal intervention and never any additives. Each wine produced is made in very limited quantities and sold directly to high-end restaurants. They produce champagne method sparkling wines, rose, chardonnay, pinot noir from three different vineyards: Ferrington Vineyards, Van der Kamp Vineyards, and Manchester Ridge.
