Normally $50+!! With a raft of critical acclaim and free shipping on 4 (yes!) this should be a no-brainer of epic proportions. While it lasts!

Too many reasons to be excited here -- the killer 2016 vintage, the unheard-of price, the scores...but here's the best part about this little find is made by Coralie de Bouard, of Chateau Angelus (think $200 and up!) and despite being a relatively new property, is already making serious waves in St. Emilion!

This is the first vintage of this estate but it's simply a rechristening of an older property called Chateau Tour Musset. Did we say WOW?! Awesome Bordeaux like this does not come around often enough...while it lasts!

About the Producer

Coralie is the daughter of Hubert de Bouard co-owner of Chateau Angelus who is also working as a consultant at the property. The property lies close to the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classes and other top quality estates like Larouqe and Fombrauge. Coralie de Bouard learned how to make wine from a master winemaker --- she assisted her father at Chateau Angleus.

94 James Suckling -
Super rich and plush with ample dark plum, cocoa and graphite nuances, as well as some blueberries and cherries. The plate has a beautifully crafted bed of fine, plush and long tannins that carry effortless length and depth. Deep and fresh cabernet kick. Really impressive. 85 per cent merlot and 11 per cent cabernet franc and four per cent cabernet sauvignon. Try from 2023.
92 Jeb Dunnuck -
Checking in as a blend of 85% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, made by the Coralie de Bouard (of Château Angélus), the 2016 Château Clos de Boüard has a beautiful elegance and purity as well as impressive notes of black cherries, cassis, subtle oak, and dried flowers. It’s very floral, with fine tannins and a silky, elegant finish.
91-93 Vinous -
The 2019 Clos de Boüard has a seriously intense bouquet with layers of blackberry, briary and subtle floral scents, thankfully maintaining impressive focus and delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and fine acidity. Velvety smooth in texture, it develops hints of bitter dark chocolate towards the finish that demonstrates good persistency, though I am seeking just a little more complexity and nuance here. Otherwise this is a fine Montagne Saint-Émilion from Coralie de Boüard.
90 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Croix des Rouzes opens with warm blueberries, blackberries and redcurrant jelly with touches of bay leaves, lavender and black olives. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and grainy with elegant fruit and great freshness, finishing minerally.
