Yes, that’s not a typo. Wow! 2016 vintage, big scores, stunning price..all we can say is HURRY!

You just don’t see Pomerol priced like this! Bordeaux’s hardest-to-find appellation makes silky, yet powerful wines. And from this world-class vintage, it is truly thrilling to be able to offer Invino clients this at the best price on Earth! This wine is fire! Dense and concentrated yet classic, this wine will please even the most demanding of oenophiles!

Decanter World Wine Awards rated this 96 points and put this in their "Best of Bordeaux: Top 20 wines of 2020" out of literally thousands of wines tasted. High praise indeed! All tasted blind by a panel of Master Somms, Masters of Wine, and Bordeaux experts.

About the Producer

The Château Croix-des-Rouzes was created by Marie-Danielle Carles following her parents' legacy in 1994. Located northwest of the village of Pomerol, the house dates back to the 19th century and offers an incredible view of the vineyards of the farm. Much investment has been made over the years at the winery and in the vineyard and it shows in this beautiful wine.

96 Decanter World Wine Awards 2020 -
Teasing and classical, with an abundance of mellow plum, blackberry, tobacco and forest floor at its core. This is an excellent wine, with plenty of earthy and soft fruits, but also with a structure which marks this out for rewarding ageing.
91 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Croix des Rouzes opens with warm blueberries, blackberries and redcurrant jelly with touches of bay leaves, lavender and black olives. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and grainy with elegant fruit and great freshness, finishing minerally.
