95 point cru Barbaresco for under $40? Shut The Front Door! 2016, as we have pontificated about in these pages relentlessly, is one of the best vintages in Piedmont that I have ever tasted in my career. Those who know me well will tell you that I have a bit of a problem when it comes to Nebbiolo, so I don't give a vintage praise like this unless it is warranted. In addition, Ronchi is one of my all-time favorite under-the-radar producers (less so in recent years with all the amazing press they have received). Antonio Galloni agreed in his 95 point review, "The 2016 is a fabulous wine from a property that has been on the ascent in recent years. "

Just a handful of bottles remain, which is nothing short of a miracle!
