Maxville Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2015 (Magnum 1.5L)

Cabernet Blends  |  US

SPECIAL: Ground shipping included on orders of 2 bottles or more!

Was $130, now $59! Plus FREE SHIPPING on 2 mags or more!! How do we do it? Don’t ask, just get clicking (we don’t have many!) -- what a deal! Perfect for the upcoming one will know you paid drastically less than the rest of the world! 2015 is a powerful, rich, structured vintage here in Napa Valley, and Maxville’s (first planted in 1974!) reflects that, while incorporating a silky, warm, spicy component. We were blown away by the quality and the deal we were able to put we said...don’t miss!

We have exactly 120 bottles and expect this to go in a flash. What’s it like? Of course, this tastes like something that costs much more. Pure, fresh, focused black currant fruit, sandalwood, pencil lead, dried flowers, violets, lavender...all that carries onto the mouth, with good freshness and energy. Anyway, PLEASE please do what you can, take 30 seconds and grab a few while we got ‘em!

About the Producer

The first planting occurred in 1974, when Edward Keith decided to start his own wine business. At the time, he planted some acres of Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are now almost 50 years old. These old vines are low yield, which produce very concentrated and intense fruit.

After purchase of the property in 2013, the Maxville team began an extensive redevelopment and restoration of both the vineyards and the riparian corridors. Presently over 100 acres of vineyards are planted, primarily to Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Sirah. Winemaker George Bursick was at Ferrari-Carano for over 20 years, then at Jordan until taking over at Maxville, located in the Chiles Valley.
