Sedition Wines was founded by two Midwestern natives, Jigar Patel and Josh Bartels, who came together over a shared passion for Pinot Noir. Drawing fruit from two of Sonoma County’s most acclaimed sites—Chenoweth Vineyard and Graham Family Vineyard—they craft a single, limited-production Pinot Noir that blends three clones into just 230 cases annually. Jigar, who spent more than a decade in the Sonoma wine industry and built his own Jigar label, channels that experience into Sedition, where the focus is exclusively on Pinot Noir. With its small scale and meticulous sourcing, Sedition Wines is available only by allocation through a mailing list, making each bottle a rare expression of Sonoma Pinot.
