Nicholas Girard Sancerre Rouge 2023
Pinot Noir | France
Pinot Noir from Sancerre? Oh, yes – and it’s fantastic. The region is famous for Sauvignon Blanc, but the Girard family has been mastering Pinot since 1973. Here they deliver a fresh, modern, aromatically pure red with a core of cranberries and crushed raspberries, wrapped in white pepper, rose petals, damp earth, and silky-light tannins. French wine lovers, this is the clean, mineral-driven, snappy red you want with your roast chicken, lentil soup, or fancy beet salad.
About the Producer
